DESCRIPTION:
Bellon TCP/IP Ethernet Video Intercom systems are ideal for new apartment
buildings, condos, business campuses, gated communities, office buildings etc. These IP based video
intercom systems feature stylish, high quality Entry
Panels and Apartment
Panels, with ultimate design flexibility over your network. Every unit
connects to standard Ethernet (10/100BaseT) and all data, audio, video are
carried via single Ethernet connection. The intercoms are powered by
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), so wiring costs are minimized and installation a
snap. The system may be operated over wide area networks (WAN) like
golf resorts and large gated communities. The MON300 Video Call Stations (Apartment Unit)
feature a slim line European design giving any home an added touch of class.
The clean modular lines and simple elegance of the Apartment Units, with an
anodized aluminum finish, complement the ergonomic handset. The Apartment
Units are also available with a "hands-free" option (MON400), allowing you to answer a call with the push of a button and coverse hands free. They feature a large TFT
Color LCD
display, and has a pushbutton to open the door/gate associated with the calling Entry Panel.
CONFIGURATIONS: Bellon Intercom systems offer the ultimate in
design flexibility. Any combination of Apartment Units and Entry
Panels may be used to build a system. They can be networked using readily
available products on any Ethernet based LAN, and powered using PoE injectors or
PoE Switches. The system is fully distributed, with all units being able
to operate on their own, thereby eliminating the need for the central
control/processing unit. This increases the system reliability and allows for
unlimited number of apartment and entry units. An example of a typical installation in a multistory
residential building is shown below:
TECHNOLOGY:
Using the latest electronics, video and audio
processing techniques Bellon Intercoms achieve high quality, full frame rate,
noise-free color video and clear audio. The low bandwidth requirements
allow simultaneous operation of a large number of entry units. The
apartment video units allow for the capturing and storing of images during the
call or for missed calls, providing additional security for the end-user. All
captured images are date/time stamped. The intercom system
does not require a separate Ethernet network, and can co-exist with other
TCP/IP applications using the wide variety of networking technologies available.
