DESCRIPTION:
Grid Connect's USB to serial adapter enables a serial device to be connected to a computer through the USB port. Perfect for a PDA, digital camera, modem or ISDN terminal with a serial port. The adapter upgrades a traditional RS-232 serial port (DB9 male) to USB (A male).

The unit features a portable design that does not require external power or complicated set-up procedures. A mini CD with drivers is included (Windows 98, Windows 2000). This usb serial adapter is plug-and-play / hot-swappable which allows you to add or remove a device at any time. It supports data transfer rates over 230 kbps. Grid Connect warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year.

REQUIREMENTS:
Available USB port on the PC (it is recommended to connect adapter directly to the PC and not through a USB HUB). CD-ROM to load drivers from supplied CD onto PC.
